Maldives Guide｜8 Hours by Plane to a Blue and White Dream

Finally realized my Maldives dream!! This time I chose AirAsia for the round trip, and the one-way ticket including tax was only a bit over 2k! All the money saved was spent on food and drinks~ Here’s a share of my travel guide: ✈️【Transportation】 We flew with AirAsia. Although it’s not a direct flight, the ticket price was really great. The moment the plane flew over the Indian Ocean, the gradient blue and white palette outside the window was indescribably beautiful! 🏝️Itinerary ▪️Local Island Experience When we first arrived in the Maldives, we didn’t rush to the resort island but stayed on a local island for two days. 🏨 Accommodation was about 700 RMB per night. We stayed in an overwater villa with a private pool, woke up to the sound of waves in the morning, and enjoyed a floating breakfast in the morning light, making even daydreaming a luxurious pleasure. 🍱【Food & Drinks】 The island has 5 restaurants and 2 bars, offering all kinds of delicious food. The freshness of Japanese cuisine, the richness of seafood, the aroma of pizza—every bite is a delight. The electronic menu has Chinese translation, so no worries about language barriers! Remember to definitely go to the bar to watch the sunset; the romance level is off the charts‼️ 🤿【Activities】 We went dolphin watching 🐬, did deep snorkeling, tried surfing 🏄, and had spa treatments on the island—every day was so exciting! ✈️【About Flight Choice】 We flew AirAsia, with a total flight time of about 8 hours, transferring in Kuala Lumpur. No need to pick up luggage during the transfer, which was convenient and hassle-free. I bought a 20kg baggage allowance, so I could bring beautiful dresses. Overall, the experience was quite good, and the service was nice. On the return flight, I ordered a meal on board, and it tasted pretty good. The most impressive moment was at Malé Airport—stepping out of the airport and being greeted by the stunning turquoise sea!
